Questions About Treatments

Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a form of psychotherapy that focuses on changing negative behaviors, improving emotional stability, and developing coping strategies that target the patient’s unique problems and patterns.

Typical sessions last between 30-90 minutes.

The answer to this question is unique for each person. It is also important to keep in mind a specific number of sessions will not guarantee a desired outcome.

This is a decision you will make with one of our mental healthcare professionals once a relationship has been established. It will depend on the type of therapy, severity of condition, and the patient’s expectations.
