Biography
Elizabeth Hinton is licensed mental health counselor that uses a variety of modalities tailored to fit the individual needs of the patient and family. She works with people in all stages of life, from children and adolescents to hospice patients and grief counseling.
Liz specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Structural Family Therapy (ESFT), narrative therapy, and anger management. Her goal is to provide a safe, nonjudgemental environment that stimulates healing, self-reflection, and positive changes to one’s quality of life.
She believes the therapeutic experience should be a patient-driven, collaborative experience that endorses self-discovery. That is why she is such a great fit for our family, and yours.
Liz has worked in a wide variety of professional settings. She worked as a Substance Abuse Treatment Specialist (DATS), as an Intake Coordinator at Jewish Family Services, a Bereavement Coordinator for Compassionate Care Hospice, to name a few. Her experience in crisis management, interdisciplinary coordination, and court testimony is unparalleled.
